Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how PillTrack (“the App”) handles information. PillTrack is published by Eray by Flurdy Ltd, with Ivar Abrahamsen as the accountable product owner.
PillTrack helps one person record medicine schedules, dose outcomes, reminders, and supply information on their device. It does not provide medical advice.
Information Stored on Your Device
PillTrack can store:
- medicine names, optional nicknames and strengths, dose quantities, and dose units;
- schedules, dates, and times;
- dose outcomes, recording times, optional notes, and quantities used;
- medicine supply, prescription, refill, expiry, and warning information; and
- reminder preferences and local notification records.
This information is stored in the App’s local storage. PillTrack does not require an account and does not send this information to Flurdy.
Cloud Storage and Transfer
PillTrack does not provide its own cloud synchronization, remote backup, import, or export. The App is configured to exclude its local store from Android and iOS device backups.
The App does not transmit your medicine records to Flurdy or another service.
Notifications
Reminders are optional and use notifications scheduled locally on your device. PillTrack asks for notification permission only after you choose to enable reminders.
A notification can show the medicine name and dose description. This information may be visible on your lock screen or to anyone who can view your notifications. Use your device’s notification preview and privacy settings if you want to limit what appears while the device is locked.
PillTrack does not use remote push notifications. To provide local reminders, the App gives your operating system the scheduled time, medicine and dose text, and internal identifiers for the medicine and scheduled dose. Notification scheduling and delivery are handled on your device.
Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Advertising
PillTrack does not include analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. It does not use advertising identifiers or track your activity for marketing.
Apple or Google may process store, purchase, update, and diagnostic information under their own terms and privacy policies when you download or use an App Store or Google Play build. This is separate from PillTrack’s local medicine records.
Technology and Service Providers
PillTrack uses:
- React Native AsyncStorage to store PillTrack information on your device;
- Expo Notifications and operating-system notification services to schedule and display optional local reminders; and
- Expo Application Services to create development and release builds. The App does not send medicine records to this build service while you use PillTrack.
This Policy Website
This policy page is hosted by Cloudflare Pages and loads styles, icons, and scripts from jsDelivr. When you visit it, Cloudflare and jsDelivr may receive standard web request information such as your IP address, browser details, and the requested page. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
The site stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. It does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Visiting this page is separate from PillTrack’s local medicine store.
Retention and Deletion
PillTrack keeps local information until you change it, clear an individual dose record, or remove the App’s data through your operating system. It does not automatically expire medicine history. Pausing a medicine or changing a schedule can preserve prior information so the history remains understandable.
The current App does not include a delete-all control or a way to delete an entire medicine. To remove all PillTrack information, delete the App rather than offloading it on iOS, or clear the App’s storage or uninstall it on Android. Your operating system controls the final removal process.
Regions
PillTrack supports users in regions where the App is officially available through its configured app stores. The App does not add a geographic restriction.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when PillTrack’s behavior, dependencies, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will appear on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
